“My promise has always been to help all of our students however I can to ensure their success in life ……. This School Supply Drive is one of the ways I have been successful in my promise to them.“ …….. Sally Moss

Thank you for supporting the
7th Annual Sumter Public Schools Supply Drive.
Sumter School District is one of the few districts in the state experiencing student population growth; however, like school districts across Florida, funding has declined. Many Sumter Public Schools students come from low-income families and need your help to obtain the supplies required for a successful school year.
This year, we are asking for monetary donations over a four-month period. This approach allows us to distribute funds more quickly and efficiently to the schools listed on the flyer. Schools can then purchase supplies tax-free and ensure each student receives exactly what they need.
By making a donation today, you help ensure every student starts the school year prepared and ready to succeed.
If you, your club, or your organization prefer to donate school supplies, items may be delivered to the Sumter School District Office listed on the flyer. If you would like to make other arrangements, please contact me.
Thank you for your continued support! ….. Sally

Thank you for your support for the ‘4th Annual Sumter Public Schools Supply Drive‘ that was started in 2020. This supply drive benefits all nine of the Sumter County traditional public schools that are listed on the flyer …majority of the students come from low-income families & cannot afford to buy all the supplies.
The 3rd Annual, 2022 Sumter Public Schools Supply Drive was very successful thanks to the residents of The Villages and everyone who made extra special donations. We owe a very special thank you to Staples in Lady Lake, the Sisterhood of Temple Shalom and Baby Boomers South Club for their participation in this year’s School Supply Drive.
All together the 2022 Sumter Public Schools Supply Drive raised over $24,000 in School Supply Donations & over $5,600 in monetary donations. This brings the three-year total to almost $50,000 in school supplies donated and over $15,000 in monetary donations.
Administrators from the schools listed on the flyer requested school supplies that are needed for their students. This makes sure that students get exactly what they need for their grade level. The monetary donations are divided up equally between these same schools.
