SUPPORT EDUCATION - SUPPORT OUR STUDENTS

Thank you for supporting the
7th Annual Sumter Public Schools Supply Drive.
Majority of Sumter Public Schools students come from low-income families and need your help to obtain the supplies required for a successful school year . Sumter School District is one of the few districts in the state experiencing student population growth; however, like school districts across Florida, funding has declined.
By making a donation, you help ensure every student starts the school year prepared and ready to succeed.
Thank you for your continued support!

“My promise has always been to help all of our students however I can to ensure their success in life ……. This School Supply Drive is one of the ways I have been successful in my promise to them.“…... Sally Moss
So far we have received over $58,000 in monetary donations &
$95,000+ estimated in School Supplies.

Thank you for your support for the ‘4th Annual Sumter Public Schools Supply Drive‘ that was started in 2020. This supply drive benefits all nine of the Sumter County traditional public schools that are listed on the flyer …majority of the students come from low-income families & cannot afford to buy all the supplies.
The 3rd Annual, 2022 Sumter Public Schools Supply Drive was very successful thanks to the residents of The Villages and everyone who made extra special donations. We owe a very special thank you to Staples in Lady Lake, the Sisterhood of Temple Shalom and Baby Boomers South Club for their participation in this year’s School Supply Drive.
All together the 2022 Sumter Public Schools Supply Drive raised over $24,000 in School Supply Donations & over $5,600 in monetary donations. This brings the three-year total to almost $50,000 in school supplies donated and over $15,000 in monetary donations.
Administrators from the schools listed on the flyer requested school supplies that are needed for their students. This makes sure that students get exactly what they need for their grade level. The monetary donations are divided up equally between these same schools.
